The bottom corners inside my windshield were always awkward to clean. The handle makes them easier to reach, and wiping both sides at once means less going back and forth.
Mark R.
Will it work on my windshield?

ClearReach is intended for standard automotive glass. The adjustable head helps it follow the windshield angle. The space you can clean depends on the glass shape and room for both heads to move.

Which pad set should I choose?

Every set includes one complete tool. Choose 2 pads for one working pair, 4 for a working pair and a spare, or 6 for a fresh pair for each of two cars plus a spare.

What's included?

Your kit includes two magnetic cleaning heads, one extendable handle and 2, 4 or 6 washable microfiber pads, depending on the set you choose. Glass cleaner is not included.

THE PART THAT IS HARDEST TO CLEAN

Cleaning the inside shouldn't be this awkward.

You're working around the steering wheel, leaning over the dash and trying to reach the bottom of the glass. ClearReach lets you clean the inside while you guide it from outside the car, once both pads are in place.

  • Clean from outside. No cloth to push across the inside by hand.
  • Less leaning over the dash. Guide the handle from beside the car.
  • Both sides together. Save a separate round of wiping.

HOW BOTH SIDES GET CLEAN

As you wipe outside, the inside gets cleaned too.

One padded head sits inside the windshield and the other sits directly opposite it outside. The magnets keep them moving together, so you can clean both surfaces at the same time.

  • Guide the outside head. The handle puts you in control.
  • The inside head follows. Magnets keep the pair aligned.
  • Both pads wipe together. Clean inside and out as you move.

Glad I got the extra pair.

I went with four pads. Once the first pair gets dirty, I can switch to the clean pair and finish the windshield. I wash them all when I'm done.

    Easy to swap and wash.

The pads come off easily. I keep a clean pair nearby because using a dirty one just moves the dirt around. A little setup the first time, then straightforward.

    FOR LARGER WINDSHIELDS

Reach more of the glass from beside your car.

    • Extend the handle. Reach farther across SUVs and pickups.
    • Get closer to the middle. Reach beyond a hand-held cloth.
    • Stand beside the car. Guide it with a comfortable grip.
Reach farther without leaning over the hood.

      THOSE AWKWARD LOWER CORNERS

Make the hard-to-reach spots easier to clean.

The glass slopes toward the dashboard, right where a hand and cloth are hardest to fit. The adjustable head helps the pad follow that angle, so those lower areas are easier to work on.

      • Adjust the head. Match the angle of the windshield.
      • Keep the pad flat. Let the microfiber contact the glass.
      • Clean inside and out. Keep both heads clear of trim and the dash.

A FRESH PAIR WHEN YOU NEED IT

Keep cleaning without a trip to the sink.

When a pair of pads picks up dirt, swap it for a clean pair and carry on. You can wash the used pads after you finish, rather than stopping halfway through.

        • 2 pads: One pair for everyday cleaning.
        • 4 pads: One pair to use, one pair ready to swap.
        • 6 pads: A fresh pair for each of two cars, plus a spare.

          A CLEARER ROUTINE

Better habits help prevent leftover streaks.

Use clean pads and a glass cleaner suitable for your vehicle. Work in small sections and check the glass from your normal driving position. A tool makes the job easier to reach; clean microfiber and the right technique still matter.

          • Start with pads free of grit and residue.
          • Follow the glass cleaner’s directions.
          • Inspect the result in consistent light.

            KNOW WHAT YOU ARE CHOOSING

Keep your cloth. Give it a handle and a partner.

A cloth is useful for touch-ups. A reach tool helps with awkward angles. ClearReach combines an extendable handle with two magnetic cleaning heads for opposite sides of standard automotive glass.

            • One kit rather than several separate cleaning tools.
            • A physical, manual tool with no charging step.
            • Use a separate clean cloth whenever a finishing wipe is needed.

                BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

                Your ClearReach questions, answered.

How does it clean both sides at once?
Place one padded head inside the windshield and the other directly opposite it outside. Once they are aligned, the magnets keep them moving together as you guide the outside head.
Do I need to get inside the car first?
Yes. You need to place the inner head on the glass. Once both heads are aligned, you can guide the cleaner from outside.
Which pad set should I choose?
Every set includes one complete tool. Choose 2 pads for one working pair, 4 for a working pair and a spare, or 6 for a fresh pair for each of two cars plus a spare.
Will it work on my windshield?
ClearReach is intended for standard automotive glass. The adjustable head helps it follow the windshield angle. The space you can clean depends on the glass shape and room for both heads to move.
Will it reach the very bottom edge?
The adjustable head helps with low, awkward areas. Keep both heads clear of the dashboard, trim and mirror mount, and follow the supplied instructions.
How do I avoid leaving smears?
Use clean pads and a glass cleaner suitable for your vehicle. Replace the pads when they pick up dirt. If the glass needs a final wipe, use a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
                Can I wash the pads?
Yes. The microfiber pads are reusable. Follow the supplied washing instructions and let them dry before storing them.
                Is glass cleaner included?
No. You receive two magnetic heads, one extendable handle and your choice of 2, 4 or 6 microfiber pads.
Can I use it on tinted or coated glass?
Check the care instructions for your tint or coating and use a compatible cleaner. Make sure the pads are clean and free of grit.
How much is US shipping, and when will it arrive?
US shipping is free with the 4- and 6-pad sets and on orders from $49; a single 2-pad kit ships for $4.95. I usually end up leaning over the dashboard with a towel wrapped around my hand. This lets me get into that low passenger-side corner without my elbow being in the way. I took it slowly while I got the heads lined up. The nice part is actually finishing the inside instead of leaving that last hazy strip for another day.

The pad in the photo is after doing my windshield. I took it off instead of trying to keep using the same dirty surface. With a clean pair on, it was easier to finish the areas near the edges without just moving the residue around. I like that I can wash the pads and keep the tool with the rest of my car-cleaning supplies.

Handy for my weekend clean. I used to finish the outside and put off doing the inside. Cleaning both together makes it feel like one job. The handle slides down so I can put it away with my car-cleaning things.

Less reaching across the truck. I bought it for my pickup. The handle helps me get farther across the windshield without leaning my whole body over the hood. I still move around the truck as I go.

A fresh pair for the second car. We have two cars, so I chose the six pads. I can start the second car with a clean pair and keep one pair spare. You still need to line up the heads first, but the extra pads are handy.

Customer photo review of Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

Our SUV has a bigger windshield than my old car, and cleaning the middle with a cloth got old fast. The extension gives me enough extra reach to work farther across from the side. I still walk around the vehicle as I go. What I like most is not having to drape myself over the hood for those middle passes.

Customer photo review of Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

This is looking out through the windshield from the passenger side. I wanted to see how the inside head moved while the other one was outside. Once they were lined up, I worked in small passes instead of big fast sweeps. Getting that inner surface done without constantly reaching over the dash is the part I find useful. Took a little getting used to, then it made sense.

Customer photo review of Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

I picked the basic set with two pads because I only have one car to do. The picture is from unpacking it on the kitchen table. My main reason for trying it was the inside of the windshield, especially the low corners. It's a little different from using a regular cloth, but once I got the heads positioned I wasn't reaching and twisting nearly as much.

Customer photo review of Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

The photo is after I'd finished and was putting the kit back with my car-cleaning stuff. The inside of the windshield was usually where I ran out of patience. With this I can reach down toward the dash and get on with it. I still check for little missed spots, but I'm not doing that awkward cloth-over-the-knuckles routine anymore.

                Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

Customer photo review of Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

I was nearly done washing the car and noticed the lower edge still needed attention. The adjustable head let me make a few more passes without reaching across the dashboard again. That's the sort of thing I bought it for. I take it slowly and use clean pads, then check the glass from inside before putting everything away. Much less of a hassle than my old routine.

                Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

I keep a couple of clean pads ready so I don't have to improvise with paper towels. Less lint to chase around and a much easier reach toward the bottom of the glass.

                Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

Did the car before a weekend trip. I usually clean the outside and tell myself I'll deal with the inside later. This time I did both and put everything away together.

                Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

I had one of those days where every angle seemed to show another mark on the glass. Switching to clean pads and making slower passes helped. Mostly I appreciate not having to reach across the whole dash to do it.

                Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

The head angle makes a difference. Once I found a comfortable position, the bottom of the windshield was easier to work on.

                Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

Glad I got spare pads. The first pair was dirty before I was happy with the whole windshield, so I switched and carried on. Setup took a little practice.

                Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

The inside glass in our minivan is a pain to reach. I can guide the pad into the low corners without trying to fit my whole arm between the steering wheel and the glass.

                Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

Useful extra reach. There's a bit of setup before you start, so I use it when I'm doing a proper clean rather than one tiny smudge.

                Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

The middle of the windshield was always my least favorite part. The longer handle gets me farther across it without leaning so hard over the hood.

                Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

I thought the longer handle would be the main benefit. For me it's really being able to finish the inside while I'm already working on the outside. One less job to put off.

                Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

I needed a couple of attempts to line everything up. Once I had that sorted, I could work without climbing halfway into the front seat.

                Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

There is a learning curve with the two heads. After the first try I was more comfortable with it, and doing the inside felt less awkward.

                Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

I washed the car on Saturday and, for once, didn't call it done after only doing the outside of the windshield. Having the inside cleaned along with it makes the whole job feel less annoying.

                Beyerswerk ClearReach Windshield Cleaner

The head needs to sit right against the glass. After adjusting my angle, I got much better contact near the bottom.
